Roger de Sa accompanies the reader on a journey his life as one of South Africa's famous soccer players. Born in Mozambique, De Sa came to South Africa with his family in 1974 at the age of nine with few personal possessions. Ten years later he started playing for premier League team Kwikot Benoni and went on to play for Moroka Swallows, Sundowns and Wits University where he is currently the head coach. His greatest distinction though, is that he holds the South African record for representing his country in three different national teams during a single year, soccer, basketball and indoor soccer.
