Vera and Victor Discover Thailand

Vera and Victor love to travel. This time they are going to Thailand – in a big airplane. They'll be arriving in a hot country where a lot of things are different from at home. They'll see temples guarded by giants, canals with big boats, strange foods, monks in orange robes. And of course lovely beaches! Do you want to join their adventure?

Vera and Victor discover Thailand is the first book in a series about two children travelling around the world. By adding facts to a fictitious story and working with close-to-reality illustrations, we aim to give insight into a foreign country. Our goal is to invite parents and children to discuss similarities and differences between other countries and cultures. The book can serve as a preparation for children travelling to Thailand and later on, as a support to all lovely holiday memories.
