I really liked this story, just as I have enjoyed the other books of Ahmet Umit's that I have read. The start tends to be a little awkward and the translation is not perfect all the way through, but the readability and interest builds throughout the story and makes it worth it. Also, Umit gives you hints and you think you know how the mystery ends but in reality, you aren't positive until the main character is. The best part? The best part is that the story links to the beautiful and intriguing history of Istanbul. Love it and can't wait for more of his books to be translated!
